Jeffrey Delano Davis is a versatile artist known for his innovative storytelling and visual artistry. He combines graphic design, animation, and filmmaking to explore the intersection of creativity, emotion, and technology.
Originally from Boston, Jeffrey later settled in New York City's East Village, where he managed a coffee shop by day and performed in Shakespeare plays at downtown theaters by night. These varied experiences exposed him to a diverse range of people, profoundly shaping his understanding of empathy, character, and narrative. After earning an MFA in Acting from Rutgers University, Jeffrey spent 20 years acting in New York City. Eventually, he decided to spread his wings and try his hand at writing, directing, and dabbling in all sorts of wacky experimentation.
His work in film includes the internationally distributed short film "Three Sonnets" and the award-winning documentary "The Art of Catastrophe". His most recent film, "Digital Automatic Writing," has received acclaim at various film festivals. In addition to his film work, Jeffrey has authored several publications. His life in Monmouth County, New Jersey, is centered around his family. He lives with his wife, Maria, and their two daughters, Vera and Josie, who constantly inspire his creative pursuits.
